지난 2025년 9월 9일, 음향·광학 메타물질 분야에서 세계적 권위를 인정받는 ‘Oliver B. Wright (홋카이도대학교/오사카대학교)’ 교수를 초청하여 특별 세미나를 개최하였다. 이번 세미나는 ‘Coaxing sound through small apertures with metamaterials’라는 주제로 학문적 교류를 확대하기 위해 마련되었다.

세미나와 동시에 Oliver B. Wright 교수와 당사(주식회사 제이제이엔에스)는 상호 협력 의사를 확인하고 우호적 관계를 구축하기 위해 업무협약(MOU)을 체결하였다. 본 협약에 따라 양측은 음향·광학 메타물질 분야 연구 교류 및 공동 연구를 추진하고, 세미나·워크숍 등 학술행사를 통한 지식 공유와 인력 교류를 강화할 계획이다. 또한, 향후 협의를 통해 필요하다고 판단되는 다양한 분야에서도 협력 가능성을 검토하며, 공동의 발전을 도모해 나갈 예정이다.

On September 9, 2025, Professor Oliver B. Wright (Hokkaido University / Osaka University), a world-renowned authority in the field of acoustic and optical metamaterials, was invited to deliver a special seminar. The seminar, titled “Coaxing sound through small apertures with metamaterials,” was organized to promote deeper academic exchange.

In parallel with the seminar, Professor Wright and JJNS Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to affirm their mutual intention for collaboration and to establish a cooperative relationship. Under this agreement, both parties will advance research exchange and joint research in the field of acoustic and optical metamaterials, while strengthening knowledge-sharing and personnel exchange through academic events such as seminars and workshops.

Furthermore, both sides will explore additional collaborative opportunities in other relevant fields deemed necessary through future consultations, aiming to foster mutual growth and long-term development.
